NEIL MEL

OWNER/LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER

I started shooting intimate photography in 2020 as a way to express my inner thoughts and tell stories. Little did I know at the time that it would open the door for so many other opportunities. I fine tuned my art and made it accessible to all. What came out of the process is that now everyone has this opportunity for an experience that not only lets you be vulnerable in a creative way but you also get amazing art out of it to memorialize the moment.

Society has conditioned us to see the human form and nudity as something that should be hidden. My goal in my work is to normalize sensuality, bodies, and nudity. We all have bodies and should be able to not only appreciate our own figures, but others’ as well. This experience is something that I’ve found is both helpful to you the client as well as the viewers who see the art. When we feel good about ourselves and our bodies, others see that confidence and see the potential inside of them as well.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime, to be able to say that you took the step to be vulnerable for not just yourself, your partner, or anyone close in your life, but to make a step towards making a change in societal norms. Head over to the Contact section of my page and tell me a little bit about yourself and any ideas that might be rumbling in your head. Let’s get steamy!

Brittany Sperino Horsford

Assistant/Writer

Someone once told me, “If you didn’t write, you would die.” What they actually meant was, “If you didn’t write, you’d never truly live.” So here I am: a writer, living life to the fullest. Crafting stories since childhood, the written word was an infinitely easier way for me to communicate. Growing older, I’ve developed my voice in new and exciting ways, but my favorite words will always be the ones I have written.

Storytelling is the most important tool we have. It connects, heals, teaches and changes us. To be human is to be a storyteller. Along with writing, tarot and astrology are two of my other favorite storytelling tools. The archetypes and meanings we find in the stars and the cards empower, enlighten and emancipate us

After casually modeling for almost 7 years now, I’ve also found the space in front of the camera is one where you can transcend the limits you’ve placed upon yourself. This depends so much on the photographer’s talent and vision. I know for me shooting with Neil becomes a place where I can relax into myself and tap into a different part of myself that is always there, but not always seen.

Through sharing our stories we create a more empathetic and meaningful collective. I hope the words and images you find here flow together to wake you from the monotony of the everyday, reminding you of all the beauty and magic to be found right here, right now.
